The Scholarship process opens Oct. 1, 2025, with a deadline of Feb, 2, 2026.

Dear Senior,
Congratulations on your upcoming graduation from high school this year! We hope you are planning to continue your education as it is the key to opening doors of opportunity to you.
We are pleased to announce the 2026 Bill Walters Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame Scholarships and the Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association Scholarships Application.
Any Clark County or Nye County high school senior who is a present member of the SNJGA or had an active membership that expired no earlier than one year of graduation, may apply by completing and submitting this application by February 2, 2026. Late applications will not be considered. The scholarship may be used to attend a community college, college, university, trade, or technical school.
The Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame and the Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association have partnered to award scholarships to graduating seniors for the last seven years. In addition to applying to the Bill Walters Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame Scholarship, you will also be applying to the Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association Scholarship, the Charlie Teel Scholarship, and the Walter M. Galyk Scholarship.
Please read the general information carefully, and then fully complete all sections of the on-line application and submit it by the deadline. One of the application directions is to complete a Personal Resume. We have some very specific information we are looking for in your Resume that will be a significant part of your overall score.
