EARNING COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS

Rewarding the hard work of Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association members with scholarships for higher education has a long history in our organization.

From 1977 – 2015, the SNJGA awarded $450,000 in scholarship money between the Jim Colbert Scholarship, V. Massi Scholarship, Danny Gans Scholarship and other awards. In 2020 we returned to award $17,500 in scholarships in conjunction with the Bill Walters Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame Scholarship.

In 2021 the SNJGA resumed awarding scholarships to deserving high school seniors and established two new scholarships: the Walter M. Galyk Scholarship and the Charlie Teel Scholarship.

We look forward to hearing much more from each of the potential applicants.
