In all, the SNJGA has awarded more than $600,000 in scholarships to deserving and graduating Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association members. The Galyk event goes a long way in keeping that mission of helping deserving scholars alive and the SNJGA is very appreciative to Camille for sharing that vision.

Walt was an avid and accomplished golfer who was killed in a hit-and-run accident in 2012. Camille honors his legacy with the creation of the annual tournament.
“We have no family, so I thought the best way to honor him was to set up something to do with golf,” Camille said. “We’re setting up a charitable foundation and one of the beneficiaries will be the SNJGA here in Las Vegas.”
