Tournament Entry Cancellation Policy

SOUTHERN NEVADA JUNIOR GOLF ASSOCIATION EVENTS

TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION:
SNJG Tournament Registration must be received prior to the closing date for the event which shall normally be at least 5 days prior to the first day of the tournament, and/or prior to the field becoming full. Late registration will be an additional fee and it is up to the Tournament Director whether there is room in the event. Late entry is not guaranteed. Entries must include saved credit card data that is valid and entries will be charged at or near the time of closing. Full payment must be made prior to the start of the event.

PLAYER CANCELLATION RESPONSIBILITY:
In the event a player must cancel from the event due to illness, injury or family emergency the player must notify SNJG staff prior to the start of the event and/or round. Cancellation is the sole responsibility of the player and refunds will be processed per the SNJG refund policy. Any player that no-shows for any round of an SNJG event, for any reason, may be suspended from SNJG competition for up 2 months. The player has the ability to appeal this suspension to the tournament committee.

REFUND POLICY:
In the event a player must cancel from the event after their card has been charged, a cancellation fee of $25 will be deducted from the total amount as a credit card administration fee. Per the SNJG refund policy, players that cancel with less than 48 hours to the event will not be granted a refund of any amount. A player has the right to appeal for a refund to the Tournament Director and Tournament Committee with 5 days of the completion of the event, for extreme circumstances. Documentation will be required in order to proceed with the appeals process.

NEVADA STATE GOLF ASSOCIATION EVENTS

In Nevada State Events, the established deadline is 2 weeks prior to the first day of the event. Players can only receive a refund if there is a waiting list of players and a wait listed player agrees to play.
