It is the mission of the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame to preserve the history of golf in Las Vegas and Southern Nevada, but the Board of Directors is also committed to inspiring the future. In 2025, the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame made a donation of $20,000 to the SNJGA, plus an additional $5000 to the Jane Schlosser Scholarship Fund.
The funds are from the auction, which was part of the record-setting Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame Night of Induction at HyperX Arena inside Luxor.
“On behalf of the SNJGA Board of Directors, our staff, players and parents, we are honored and humbled to accept this donation from the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame,” said Tim Quinn, SNJGA president. “We have a strong partnership with them, including working together on scholarships each year. Thank you to the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame and all involved for making this possible.”
This donation is in addition to the $20,000 awarded in scholarships in 2025 via the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame Bill and Susan Walters Scholarship.
The SNJGA’s own Joe Sawaia was inducted along with former LPGA Tour player Deborah Vidal; Golf Fore Kids from Mesquite; and PGA of America professional Thom Blinkinsop. Jerry Roberts, who helped create the SNJGA, was the recipient of a lifetime achievement award.
