The mission of the SNJGA is to teach children of all ages, regardless of socioeconomic background, the importance of honesty, integrity, and perseverance through the game of golf. Throughout the years, the SNJGA has been able to offer instruction, equipment, fun and competitive events, scholarships, and guidance through its many programs.

The SNJGA is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, which relies on donations, grants and fundraisers in order to continue its worthwhile programs. The SNJGA strives to continue and grow these programs as well as establish new programs.

Scholarships

Rewarding the hard work of Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association members with scholarships for higher education has a long history in our organization.

From 1977 – 2015, the SNJGA awarded $450,000 in scholarship money between the Jim Colbert Scholarship, V. Massi Scholarship, Danny Gans Scholarship and other awards and we returned to award $17,500 in scholarships in 2020 in conjunction with the Bill Walters Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame Scholarship…
