It was quite the showing for Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association players at the 2021 Nevada State Junior Amateur played at Genoa Lakes Golf Club in Northern Nevada. William Moser (Boys 15-18), McKenzi Hall (Girls 15-18), Drew Harvey (Boys 13-14), and Nya Palmer (Girls 13-14) won titles and each hail from Southern Nevada.

“It was intimidating being one of the youngest players here,” said Nya Palmer. “But now that I’ve crossed this barrier and shown myself the hard work pays off, I’m excited. I really tried to push through after the first round and stay positive.”
