Our SNJGA stars and young players from Southern Nevada are always out there making a name for themselves nationally. Recently, five golfers from Southern Nevada played in the Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship.

The event is now considered one of the top junior tournaments in the world.

Girls 10-11: Charlotte Halstead from Las Vegas, NV. Qualified from the Utah Regional Final after a 3 hole sudden death playoff. Shot scores: 74-72. She finished tied for T25 with rounds of 79-75-79.

Girls 12-13: Tiffany Park from Las Vegas, NV. Qualified from Utah Regional Final. Shot scores of 69-73. Park finished T22 with rounds of 73-77-72.

Girls 14-15: Madison Perez from Las Vegas, NV. Qualified from Utah Regional Final. Shot scores of 66-71. Perez finished 6th with rounds of 67-75-72.

Girls 16-18: Demi Du from Las Vegas, NV. Qualified from Utah Regional Final. Shot scores of 71-72. Du is a UNLV Women’s golf commit and finished T14 with rounds of 78-72-72.

Boys 16-18: Joe Zhou from Las Vegas, NV. Qualified from Utah Regional and shot scores of 64-64. He finished T10 in the Finals with rounds of 68-31-76.
