Among our Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association members are new 2022 Nevada State and Region champions. Congratulations to all who won individually and/or as part of a team victory. Earning state or region titles were Lilly DeNunzio, Bryn Kort, Holly Rodriguez and Camryn Schaper.

Here’s a recap below, plus also a video about Coronado High winning its 6th state title in 8 years and also winning the 2022 5A Southern Region. The team was anchored by active members Lilly DeNunzio, Joanne Lee, Ali Mulhall, Hayoung Lee and Ariya Soldwisch.
DeNunzio
DeNunzio won the Southern Region title while Bryn Kort, a former SNJGA member, earned the state title. Joanne Lee was runnerup at State while Mulhall was third. Hayoung Lee and Soldwisch finished tied for eighth at state.
Other SNJGA Members 5A Region, State Finishes
Bishop Gorman finished runnerup at both Southern Region and State and the team included SNJGA members Lauren Pham (7, 16), Dakota Tallent (16, 6), Katelyn Lee (12,7), Zoe Parker (20, 4), Samantha Harris (21, 8), Rosie Deluca (28, N/A) and Sydelle Ritorio (28, 23).
Clark High finished in third as a team lead by Cydney Ha who finished 9th at Zone and 18th at State. Angela Huang finished 12th at both Zone and State for Clark.
Others finishing in the top 10 of the Southern Region Sierra Vista’s Nya Palmer (5, 21), Palo Verde’s Lauren Wong (7, N/A), and Palo Verde’s Rivers Common (10, 22).
Others finishing in the top 10 at State were Sophia Gambini (N/A, 8), and the others were listed in the above team recaps.
