Once again, Southern Nevada junior golfers had the opportunity to attend a free clinic on Monday of the 2023 Shriners Children’s Open at TPC Summerlin. The event was hosted by the Shriners, the Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association and the Southern Nevada Chapter, Southwest Section, PGA of America.

PGA Tour player Kyle Westmoreland, area PGA professionals and SNJGA volunteers worked with the kids. The mission of the groups is to grow the game and offer opportunities to young kids.

The clinic is an annual tradition and each year a PGA Tour player joins the fun.

“They look awesome and I’m super impressed with the juniors and the instructors,” Westmoreland said. “I think the instructors are way more qualified to teach than me, but I’ve been enjoying seeing what they’ve done with the kids. And the kids seem really involved. So, I am just happy that they could be here and do this, and glad I could be a part of it.”
