Riana Mission has been winning since her junior golf and high school golf days. That continued at the Univ. of San Francisco. Here terrific golf and talent has been noticed and she earned a spot in the very prestigious 2025 Augusta National Women’s Amateur.
The tournament is recognized as of the top amateur events for women golfers in the world. The final round is played at Augusta National, home of The Masters. Mission is honored, humbled … and ready.
“The first things that come to mind are excitement and pride,” Mission said. “I’m really proud of all the hard work I’ve put in over the past few years, especially this past fall, where winning two college tournaments helped put me in position for this invitation. I’m also deeply grateful for all the support I’ve received throughout my journey—from when I started as a little girl in junior golf and the SNJGA, to now finishing my last year of college. Being invited to Augusta means so much to me, especially as it reminds me that all the little things I have worked on day to day can translate to moments like this. I’m thrilled to have earned my place among such a talented field and look forward to competing there in April.”
