Hello, and let’s get ready for another quality year for the Southern Nevada Junior Golf Tour. We have continued to produce quality events and focus on our kids experience during our tournaments, while attracting quality fields and building a solid local, regional, and national reputation.
You can expect more of the same in 2025 and we have release most of our 2025 schedule, which is available at SouthernNevadaJuniorGolf.com. More quality playing opportunities with some good venues and some new courses as we try and do every year.
A main point to strongly mention is how appreciative we are to our golf course partners who allow the SNJGA to host tournaments because, as most of you know, this golf market is challenging with water issues, courses closing, and other challenges. The way our course partners continue to open their golf courses to us is very important to our organization, and I urge players and parent to thank the staff every time we play.
Aside from the tournament schedule, the SNJGA will continue to partner with the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association to operated high-level high school golf championships. This is very important to us and to provide the best playoff experience possible for our kids. This also allows the SNJGA to be top of mind for all high school coaches and players.
We will also help host USGA junior qualifiers and the qualifier for the Notah Begay Junior Golf Championships, plus host the team event again at Anthem Country Club. We will also help operated the national team events plus host the year-end player of the year awards event.
As a reminder, The Player of the Year Points Race ends with the Rio Secco event in May and the travel team points races end with the Las Vegas Junior City Amateur in June at Las Vegas Golf Club.
Thanks to all parents and juniors, volunteers, our board of directors, and, once again, our golf courses, for a terrific 2024 and what will be a wonderful 2025.
