It was another terrific year for Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association members during the Nevada State Boys Golf Championships.

In the 5A division, Bishop Gorman breezed to the title led by several members. Gorman players included Daniel Golin (T-3), R.J. Arone (T-5), Jay Carr (T-5) and Avery Lazarski (T-9).

The runner up was Shadow Ridge that also included several members. The event was held at Red Hawk in Northern Nevada.

In the 4A Nevada State High School Golf division, Durango won the team title while SNJGA member Drake Harvey earned the individual victory.

The Durango team was led by Ethan Long, John Harris, Spencer Walden and Dylan Mullalley who all finished in the top 20. Las Vegas High was second followed by Green Valley.

Kyle Vincent Forbes led his Legacy High team to a third place finish in the 3A. He was the first ever champ from Legacy and it was the first time the school had qualified for the state tournament.
