Mason Snyder, an SNJGA member, has officially signed his letter of intent to play golf at Loyola Marymount University. Snyder is the 2022 Nevada State 5A high school champion and also won multiple times on the AJGA Tour.
Snyder also won the 2021 Las Vegas City Junior Am in addition to other SNJGA tournaments during his junior career
Snyder is a class of 2023 from Palo Verde High School.
“My junior career has been a lot of fun,” said Snyder, who verbally committed last year prior to signing his official letter of intent. ” I have committed to a great college, LMU, and look forward to continuing to pursue my goal of being a top PGA pro after college. I would also like to thank my coach Eric Meeks for everything.”
“He is hard worker and always has practiced very hard since he was young,” Meeks said. “He was also a natural and since he was a young player he had the ability to shoot low scores. I think it was a great choice for him to go to LMU. My son Cameron went there, so I know the coaches well and I think it is a great fit for Mason. A bunch of schools called him and I think it is a win-win for everyone. He will have a great college career and then give professional golf a try. He will be fun to watch.”
