At the historic Las Vegas Golf Club, Anderson Lee, Amy Cho, Joshua Chui, and Lauren Wong earned prestigious Las Vegas City Junior Amateur titles.
Lee tied with Elijah Marshall at the end of the two rounds in the boys, 13 to 14 division and earned the title on the second playoff hole.
“I just wanted to have a good time because we both played pretty well,” Lee said. “I mean, I definitely played better, but it was fun.”

Palmer, Wong, Lee
Cho recorded a two-round total of one under par to win the girls’ 13 to 14 division over runner up Berlin Biddinger.
“I changed my irons a week ago, so I think that was the thing that most affected my game because cuz my irons were really good,” Cho said. “This is my first big tournament to win in Vegas since I moved here.”
Chui finished at 700 par to win the title in a very competitive 15 to 18 boys division over Daichi Molde, Drake Harvey and Bradley Bourn who each finished at -3.
“I think I started off pretty rough because I was like even par or one under through eight holes and then I made an eagle and after that I just feel very good,” Chui said. “I just wanted to make birdie every hole.”
In the girls 15 to 18 division, Wong recorded a four under par total to run away with the title.
“I think I was really strong in my mental game and just being able to stay in the present, especially with all the windy conditions,” Wong said. “So I’m really proud overall with how I played in these conditions.”
