After her passing in 2025, a scholarship in her honor was created, and the first honoree is Alliah Jordan. Howard will be attend Howard University beginning Fall 2026 to play golf.
“It means so much to me to receive this scholarship, knowing that it is named in honor of such an influential person who gave back so much to the community,” Jordan said. “Knowing that I was the first recipient of it means a lot to me. It is amazing to know that so many kids are going to have the opportunity to go to college with the money that is being awarded.”
Ann Sunstrum, SNJGA Executive Director, helped create the scholarship and appreciates the donors who stepped up to make it a reality and to honor Schlosser.
