Once again, the Southern Nevada golf community gathered to raise scholarship dollars at Palm Valley Golf Club in Golf Summerlin. It was all in the memory of Walter M. Galyk.

Galyk’s widow, Camille, underwrites the event, and all money raised goes to scholarships for deserving SNJGA graduates. In 2025, $46,000 was given away, and that number increases to $66,000 when two Bill Walters Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame Scholarships are added to the count.

Thanks to the entire SNJGA and Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame scholarship committees for your efforts. The committee is led by Steve McCoy from the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame and Tim Quinn, from the SNJGA.
