In 2025, the Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association debuted the Southern Nevada Junior Golf Mini Tour, where kids new to competitive golf could learn in a fun and relaxed setting as they attempt to advance to the official Southern Nevada Junior Golf Tour.
The Mini Tour schedule was a resounding success and featured monthly events around Southern Nevada. The first several events in 2026 have already been posted at the website, so click now to the 2026 SNJGA Mini Tour Schedule.
A recent awards ceremony was held and the following were among the award winners.
Elevated Award
Jack Thomas Alexis Carranza Micah Begalman
Dedication Award
Jett Coss-Shady Isabel Fuentes
Champion of Character Award
Calvin Stream
Tournament Directors Award
Olivia Snow Liam Reilly
The Mini Tour is a developmental/ instructional tour that gives younger or less experienced players the ability to learn rules of the game, scoring, and general golf etiquette (who’s turn, playing order, respecting your competitors and care for the course).
This friendly but competitive tour will serve as a feeding tour to our bigger and more competitive SNJGA tour. Combining each event with an instructional aspect, we hope this fun and friendly environment will give both players and parents more knowledge about the game from a tournament perspective.
Here is a video about the Mini Tour and how it can make a huge impact on young, competitive golfers.
