Elko High School used the hometown course advantage to win the 2025 Class 3A Boys State Golf Championship. The team finished at 68-over at par 72 Ruby View Golf Course.

Kaleb Nielson finished at 11-over 155 to win the individual title. Three golfers from Elko were in the top five.

Coral Academy’s Grady Grant was the Southern Region’s top individual. He finished in 6th at 16 over.

Churchill County finished 23 strokes back (91 over) for second place in the team competition. Virgin Valley was the Southern Region’s top team with a 3rd place finish.

Several SNJGA members played on Southern Region teams.
