Natalie Cheong has game, on and off the course. The SNJGA member has committed to play college golf at Williams College.

“Natalie is a wonderful person and a very good golfer,” says Craig Barlow, her instructor and a longtime PGA Tour player. “She’s a hard worker and she will be a great asset to Williams. I look forward to seeing her compete at that level.”

Cheong works with Barlow at the High Performance Golf Institute at Reflection Bay Golf Club at Lake Las Vegas Resort.

Cheong plays at Arbor View High and now is headed to Williams, one of the top educational schools in the United States.

“I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to applying early decision at Williams College to continue my academic and golf career!” Cheong wrote on Instagram. “I am so grateful for my family, coaches, and friends for their unconditional support and wisdom that made this possible. In the beginning, golf was just a hobby outside of tennis, but it soon became my passion and drive that carried me throughout high school. It continues to push and teach me humbling lessons everyday. It’s been a wild ride, but the journey has only started. I can’t wait for what’s next.”

Cheong was runner up at the 2022 Nevada State Junior Amateur at Boulder Creek and has other top finishes during her high school, junior and amateur career. Just prior to the junior amateur, she won the Henderson Junior Amateur at The Legacy Golf Club.
