Jake Johnson, a Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association alum who also played at Bishop Gorman, is a senior for Rocky Mountain College. He recently finished fourth and was all tournament during the 2025 Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate at Reflection Bay Golf Club at Lake Las Vegas. By Brian Hurlburt, video by Trey Hurlburt.

Johnson is a Small Business Management major and plans to return to Las Vegas and work at Reflection Bay as he pursues a potential professional golf career. He is very appreciative of what Reflection Bay has meant to him and the Rocky Mountain program.

He fondly recalls his SNJGA days and enjoys seeing fellow alumni and others he played with in junior golf while he plays for Rocky Mountain College.

“I think the all around atmosphere of everything and playing with the kids and remembering those times,” Johnson said. “Now, I see them getting out of college and even in college on other teams and everything. It’s really cool that everyone comes together eventually. It has a great feeling to it.”

His coach, Nathan Bailey, is also very impressed with Johnson and what he has meant to his program.
